Please join us for the October 2025 edition of the Intellectual Freedom Forum, which will be held on Thursday, October 9th at 4:30PM. This forum will be celebrating Banned Books Week.
Prepare to take a tour of all the important resources available to school librarians in the event of a book challenge. Additionally, participants will hear book talks about some of the ALA’s Top Ten Most Challenged Books of 2024, with an invitation for all to discuss their reviews of any challenged books of interest to them. We will explore why these books are often challenged and how this impacts school library collection development. Join us for a great opportunity to learn, network, and meet your WEMTA IF Committee!
The Intellectual Freedom Forum is free to all WEMTA members who register for the event.
