Battling Over Books: Are you looking for a creative and engaging way to get students to read? Come learn about WEMTA's Battle of the Books Contest. Motivating 4th through 12th grade students to read a wide variety of books.
- Are you new to the program and want some help getting started?
- Have you been participating in Battle, but want some new ideas?
- The first 30 minutes will include: Learning what the program is?How to register teams? Where to acquire the books and how many to purchase? And other general interest topics.
- Then we will break out into grade level groups to address more specific topics. Elementary grades 4 to 6. Middle grades 6-8. Senior grades 8-12.
